With over $500 in proceeds towards St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital
from the day's event, St. Jude Fundraiser race at Richmond BMX was a success! We had a special participant today, from St. Jude Hospital. Trevor Nelson was diagnosed in December 2006 and is being treated for Leukemia. Now in remission, Trevor is out racing in the 7 year old Rookie class for Bike Lane (Northern Virginia). Trevor's treatment is expected to last through March 2010.  Tina Hayer and Trevor Nelson after the flag lap. |
